Lineboat Chief Engineer - St. Louis, MO

Summary:

ADM is seeking a skilled engineer to work under the direction of a Port Engineer and Captain on a lineboat at American River Transportation Company (ARTCo).

Job Responsibilities:

Manager of all repairs, maintenance, engine room, and general housekeeping

Works with Captain and other officers to ensure smooth, efficient and effective performance of the vessel

Keeping detailed records for their assigned vessel

Use of Maximo for ordering

Supervises, trains and mentors junior engineering personnel

Assist the captain and mate with required vessel reports in compliance with environmental, safety and USCG regulations and report any problems or damage

Report all injuries, illnesses, and near misses in a timely manner, and review

Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested
