About the Role
Skyjack is seeking an innovative Mechanical Design Engineer for line support. Engage in optimizing product designs and ensuring manufacturing meets all specifications while promoting continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, you will be the primary interface between Design Engineering and Manufacturing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least two years of relevant experience. Key competencies include mechanical design principles, SolidWorks proficiency, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and produce comprehensive design and production drawings
• Implement product changes for enhanced assembly and options
• Investigate and resolve BOM discrepancies
• Document all project aspects thoroughly
• Diagnose and recommend solutions for equipment failures
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment design
• Familiarity with GD&T and welding process...
