Light Mechanic - Feed Mill

OVERVIEW

The Light Mechanic/Feed Milling Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, operating all the grain handling, grinding, batching, mixing and pelleting equipment to a high standard of efficiency while maintaining quality control and a safe work environment.

DUTIES

List the principal tasks that a person employed in the role would be expected to perform or be expected to be capable of undertaking as normal duties.

Provide Mechanical support to mill operators to ensure stationary combustion engines, generators and milling equipment equipment is maintained and operational during shift to meet production targets.

Perform all maintenance required to stationary combustion motors used to power grain handling equipment in the manufacturing process
