Location: Kamloops Downtown Y (400 Battle Street, Kamloops BC)

Nature & Scope

Reporting to the Head Lifeguards and Aquatics Supervisor, the Lifeguard/Swim Instructor will perform lifeguarding duties, instruct swimming lessons and aquatic programs, and perform cleaning duties and tasks as required.

Major Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Head Lifeguards and Aquatic Supervisor, the lifeguard/instructor will perform the lifeguarding duty of providing safety and supervision to all members.
• Maintaining a high level of quality that meets that standards and principles of the Lifesaving Society.
• Instructing swim lessons according to the YMCA Swim Program.
