Librarian

Overview

Job Title: Librarian (English-speaking, Contract) - Indians Preferred

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Ain, UAE. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship provided. We welcome candidates of all levels, but preference will be given to Indian nationals.

Responsibilities

• Managing library collection and providing assistance to library patrons.
• Organizing and cataloging materials.
• Assisting users in finding resources.
• Managing loan transactions.
• Maintaining the library's online catalog.
• Creating and implementing programs and events to promote literacy and reading within the community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Librarian.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is required for this role as you will be working with English-speaking patrons.
