The Trustees are recruiting for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant at Hollinwood Academy, Oldham. This fixed-term role lasts 12 months.

Contract & Salary

Salary: NJC scale point 3 – £24,796 per annum (full-time equivalent).

Actual salary pro rata – £20,663 per annum.
S.E.N. allowance – £1,539 per annum.

Contracted hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week / term time only (190 days per year).

Start date: Commencing as soon as possible. Closing date: Friday 19th June 2026.

• Previous experience working with primary/secondary school aged students who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably in an educational setting.
• A nurturing and empathetic approach to behaviour management.
