About the Role
Join StepStone as a Senior Legal Counsel, supporting Infrastructure & Real Assets in a global role. Help manage legal processes for private market investments and transactions across geographies.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with the StepStone Legal team and directly report to the Partner and Head of Legal in London. Your focus will be on handling secondary transactions, fund investments, and co-investments, along with managing external legal resources. You'll also oversee fund formation, structure, and transaction management for SIRA accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and draft agreements for secondary transactions and investments
• Assist with fund formation and advisory agreements
• Oversee ongoing legal operations for accounts and funds
• Manage outside counsel and review legal feedback
• Supervise paralegals on investment documentation
Requirements:
• Law degree (LLB or JD) required
• 4-6 years in private markets transactional law
