Legal Advisor

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Legal Advisor is required to provide proactive legal and administrative support to the in‑house legal team, with particular emphasis on contract review, legal research, corporate governance support, and the preparation of documentation for tender submissions and commercial proposals, whilst maintaining and developing a culture of risk management within Lesedi.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Contract Support

• Review, draft, and amend a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, credit applications, bespoke client agreements, service agreements, consultancy agreements, etc.).
• Highlight key legal and commercial risks.
• Maintain document tracking registers and manage contract lifecycle documentation (such as warranties, guarantees, and bonds).
• Support negotiation processes by preparing mark‑ups and comparison summaries.
