About the role

We seek a Lecturer in Creative Pattern Cutting to contribute to teaching and student experience across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. 

Alongside a contemporary aesthetic you will have the ability to connect advanced construction methods and technical expertise with current fashion systems, including responsible material practices. The role supports the advancement of our future-facing curriculum, active learning environment, and graduate readiness, encouraging students to develop as adaptable, reflective practitioners equipped for evolving industry contexts. 

Drawing on your experience, you will deliver creative workshops that build knowledge and confidence in garment construction, pattern cutting, and prototyping. You will predominantly teach across UG/PG Fashion Design programmes at the Manchester Fashion Institute and contribute towards student progression and satisfaction, and positive graduate outcomes. We encou...
