The Role

Support pupils with autism through a mixture of 1:1 work and small-group sessions across the school day. You will help pupils follow routines, access classroom learning, build confidence, and stay engaged, while feeding back clearly to the class teacher and SENCO. SEN teaching assistants support teachers to help children with disabilities and special educational needs, and schools are expected to follow the SEND Code of Practice when identifying needs, putting support in place, a...
