About the Role
Join the City of Thunder Bay as a Leader of Children's Recreation Programs. This role allows you to engage youth ages 5-13 through creative and inclusive activities.
As a leader, you will design and implement dynamic programs while ensuring all participants feel valued and safe. Collaboration with staff, volunteers, and community partners will support a vibrant and inclusive environment. Timely reporting and evaluation of program success will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and lead engaging activities for ages 5-13
• Plan recreational events tailored to children's interests
• Maintain supervision and promote safety during activities
• Work effectively with volunteers and community contributors
• Document program evaluations and communicate needs
