About the Role
Description
The Lead Study Moderator anchors on-site execution for in-person user research and data collection studies. This role owns daily session flow across the site — directing moderators, managing the participant pipeline, resolving live issues with prototype hardware, and serving as the single point of accountability for protocol adherence and data integrity. The Lead Study Moderator is a working supervisor: actively moderating sessions while overseeing throughput, quality, and team coordination across shifts.
On-site oversight of moderated study execution, including session pacing, protocol adherence, and quality control across multiple concurrent moderators
Direct moderation of in-person sessions when required, including ICF administration, participant guidance, and data capture
Real-time troubleshooting of prototype hardware, with judgment on when to escalate vs. resolve in-session
