United Kingdom Transmission & Distribution sector growing rapidly. Baker Hicks has delivered major projects across the UK and is seeking a Senior Electrical (P&C) Engineer to drive the design and production of substation protection and control schemes for HV and EHV projects (132kV‑400kV).

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership
  • Lead the design and review of substation protection and control schemes, ensuring compliance with National Grid, SSEN and SPT technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee the quality of design drawings and technical documents.
  • Guarantee that designs meet applicable standards and client specifications.
• Protection Systems Design
  • Develop differential, distance, overcurrent, and busbar protection schemes.
