About the Role

JOB SUMMARY 

As directed by the Shop Supervisor the lead hand coordinates and performs the activities of fabricating and assembling products such as overhead doors, springs, and hardware for custom job orders. The lead hand also is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in the warehouse and service and install vans using the software tools supplied.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties 

  • Lead hand interprets work orders and templates, schedules and coordinates activities with other work units or departments
  • Cutting and assembling overhead door sections as required.
  • Picking hardware orders, assembling track packages and packing to the requirements of our technicians and external customer requirements.
  • Liaisons with the applicable supervisors, project managers, and coordinators
  • Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product
