About the Role

            Job Description Job Description We are looking to hire a Commercial Door Mechanic to join our team! Your main responsibilities will be Door & Hardware Installation & Repairs in a hospital setting throughout the 5 Boroughs & Parts of Long Island.
Role and Responsibilities
Installation of hollow metal Doors, Frames, and hardware in steel stud and concrete openings.
Installation and repair of Door hardware including Closers, Panic Bars, various locksets, Door Coordinators, Continuous hinges, Kick plates, Flushbolts, Vision panels
MUST show up on time & follow safeguards, rules, and regulations per the jobsite foreman/manager
Installation & Repairs of metal framing and sheetrock to facilitate door frame installation/repair. 
Misc. maintenance work including minor masonry repairs, fire stopping, cleaning, etc., as needed.
