Role:

We have an immediate opening for a Lead Commercial Garage Door Service Technician located in the Kelowna Branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, the Technician attends sites to install overhead garage doors. This role is a permanent, full time position.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold
  • Servicing, and diagnose problems, provide solutions, and carry out required work on overhead doors
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate with the scheduler on problem solving, provide solutions and required parts if needed.
  • Welding for installation or repair if required
  • Effectively assess job scope at the beginning of each job and note any discrepancies to your scheduler immediately- ie: product warranty, site condition...
