Laundry Coordinator

Job overview

To ensure that the Laundry and Linen teams carry out their duties following departmental and Trust policies under guidance from the Laundry Production Manager. To communicate with all users of the services on a regular basis to ensure the service specifications are being delivered to agreed standards.

Main duties of the job

• To assist in providing and receiving complex information through formal reports and at meetings.

• To assist in preparation and interrogation of complex financial information, and react accordingly.

• Ensure high levels of staff morale by motivation and personal leadership.

• Maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business in accordance with Trust Policy.
