About the Role

Job Summary:

Urban Life Solutions is currently hiring for a full-time Labourer to join our Landscape Maintenance division in Ottawa. Reporting to the Crew Lead/Site Supervisor, this role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of gardens, lawns, parks, and grounds across industrial, municipal, and commercial properties while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  •  Spread topsoil, lay sod, and plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees.
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, raking, aerating, dethatching, weeding, and pruning shrubs and trees.
  • Maintain lawns and landscaped areas along entire properties.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including string trimmers, riding mowers, leaf blowers, and sidewalk tractors.
  • Operate sidewalk tractors with various attachments for summer maintenance and winter snow removal on sidewalks and walkways.
