SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician to join an engineering testing laboratory. This hands-on role involves operating and setting up laboratory equipment, conducting materials testing, and supporting forensic investigations on structures and construction materials. POSITION INFO: Job Description:
- Operate and maintain UTM machines , hydraulic testing systems, and laboratory equipment
- Conduct concrete cube, cylinder, compressive strength, and crushing tests
- Perform soil and geotechnical testing in accordance with industry standards
- Assist with forensic investigations of structural failures and material performance
- Accurately record, analyse, and report test results
- Ensure equipment calibration, laboratory compliance, and safety standards are maintained
