Laboratory Quality Assistant

The Quality Assistant supports testing, compliance and quality control (QC) protocols to ensure laboratory operations meet strict regulatory and safety standards. The role assists with equipment maintenance, sample preparation, documentation and the enforcement of good laboratory practices (GLP).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspection and Testing

• Conduct regular physical inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products
• Operate laboratory precision tools such as automated equipment and calipers
• Verify returns from trade/customers

Compliance Monitoring

• Verify that all production staff follow internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure adherence to external regulations, such as ISO and Food Safety standards and/or FDA requirements
• Deploy continuous improvement and best practice methods
