Lab Technician: Safety, Prep & Inventory

• Prepare equipment, chemicals and materials for classroom, handling and paying particular attention to the safe use.
• Maintain cleanliness and service ability of such apparatus and equipment and the tidiness of laboratories.
• Assist with the ordering of resources and with the receipt of all deliveries, checking against delivery orders and checking for discrepancies
• Assist with the maintenance of an inventory of materials, chemicals, equipment and associated stock taking duties
• Aware of relevant health and safety legislation and ensure compliance in respect of the storage and use of apparatus and materials within the department

Requirements

• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field
