Lab Technician 4 – Bacteriology

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Lab Technician 4 – Bacteriology to support our client located in Frederick, MD. The Lab Technician 4 – Bacteriology will provide hands-on laboratory support across microbiology, molecular biology, cell culture, and animal research studies. This individual will work closely with Principal Investigators and research teams to execute bacteriological assays, analyze data, and maintain laboratory operations in regulated environments.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician 4 – Bacteriology include:

·Perform bacterial culture, isolation, purification, and characterization in BSL-2 and BSL-3 environments

·Execute molecular biology assays including PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA preparation, and cloning support

·Conduct cell culture activities, including maintenance of mammalian cell lines and viability assays
