Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to join our Mental Health & Learning Disability pharmacy team at the Royal Cornhill Hospital. The post holder will work as part of the Mental Health and Learning Disability pharmacy team, under the supervision of the Lead Pharmacy Technician, and will contribute to the provision of dispensary services and support medicines management at ward level.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medication for both in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Assemble drug orders.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of sundries.
• Process returned medication.
• Support medicine stock control at ward level.
• Perform general duties including good housekeeping, filing and photocopying.

Qualifications & Requirements

This post requires either an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
