Junior Tailings Engineer

WSP has a new opportunity for a Junior Tailings Engineer to join our Mine Waste team on a full-time basis in Midrand . This is a junior level position in the consulting team and is regarded as a professional person in the delivery of tailings and geotechnical services, in line with the WSP suite of engineering products.

Responsibilities

• This is a junior level in the consulting stream
• The employee has well developed general technical skills
• Takes direction from and supports intermediate and senior staff to achieve project and business goals
• Displays personal leadership in completion of work tasks
• Makes basic decisions with input from intermediate and senior staff
• Contributes to projects with a major focus on data collection and processing with an increasing role in analysis and interpretation
