Junior Data Scientist

Job Description

A company in the banking sector are looking for Junior Data Scientists with 1-2 years experience.

Requirements:

•BSc degree/Information Science or NQF Level 7 equivalent.

•1-2 Years Technical Experience in Data gathering, modelling etc.

•Experience data exploration and visualization tools.

Knowledge And Skills:

•Language: R, Python, SAS.

•Knowledge of Data Sourcing, Mining (exploration), Machine Learning and text analysis.

•Statistical/Machine Learning knowledge (Correlation, multivariate regression, clustering etc.).

•Communication and Presentations skills (Create story around data).

•QlikSense; Power BI; Dash; RShiny; Google Visualization.
