Junior Accountant

Profile Summary

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial and operational activities of the Production and Transport Departments by maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, and ensuring the integrity of operational data. The role works closely with internal departments to support reporting, job costing, external sales, plant and vehicle hire accounting, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and submit Production and Transport performance reports.
• Maintain and update job costing reports accurately and on schedule.
• Verify the accuracy of weighbridge system transactions and report discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly Purchase and Sales Reports to support stock verification.
• Generate and process monthly internal and external invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of external sales, plant hire, and vehicle hire transactions.
