About the Role
Job Summary:
The Maintenance/Janitor (Unskilled) position is responsible for performing janitorial/maintenance duties within the Oakland Arena and Oakland -Alameda County Coliseum.
Part Time, Union, Starting at $20.91 per hour.
Duties & Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance duties as assigned (vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean/sanitation bathrooms, sinks, counter tops and refrigerators; dust and clean interior windowsills/windows and any other areas in need of cleaning.
Empty trash cans, replace liners and clean receptacles; recycle as instructed. Use industrial chemical and equipment to clean a variety of surfaces.Finish all assigned work within allotted time and in a satisfactory manner. Responsible for notifying leads and/or supervisors of all cleaning tasks neglected. Leave all work areas clean and in order.Adhere to AEG policies and procedures including company wide sustainability initiatives.
