Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating a micro tunnel boring machine (Pipe Jacking Machine) within varying ground conditions and according to provided tunnelling parameters, ensuring safe, technical and economical operation through the control room to execute projects within approved schedules and project parameters.
- Assist in mobilization and de-mobilization of pipe jacking operations for any site setup and ensure preventive maintenance of all equipment is performed appropriately.
- Undertake cutterhead and tool inspection during the drive; take charge of emergency situations within the TBM.
- Maintain and produce operational reports and daily activity logs.
- Promote a safety culture; identify and communicate any and all working environment safety hazards.
