Inwards Supervisor

We have a very well respected client who is looking for an experienced Inwards Supervisor/Manager to step in immediately. They’re heading into peak season so the volume will be high and the pace will be fast. If you can hit the ground running and would be interested in a six‑month contract with the potential to go permanent, read on.

Role

You’ll lead the Inwards team, managing container scheduling, unloading, receipting and put‑away across a fast-paced import operation. You’ll liaise with freight forwarders and devanning crews, keep stock flowing accurately through the system, and hold the team accountable to daily targets. To get up to speed quickly, you must have a track record in a similar role and environment.

Requirements

• 3‑5 years leading inwards or receiving operations in a busy warehouse or DC environment
• Proven ability to perform under volume pressure – peak season is not a new phrase...
