Investment Officer - based in Luxembourg

Purpose

The Deep Tech & Digital Unit is responsible for EIB’s direct investment activities aimed at strengthening Europe’s deep tech base. Working alongside leading venture and growth investors, the team originates and directly finances high‑growth, technology-driven companies across sectors including space, defence and dual use, AI, autonomous robotics, semiconductors, quantum technologies. The investments focus on companies whose technologies are critical for Europe’s competitiveness, resilience and strategic autonomy, but which often require significant long‑term, risk‑taking capital to scale.
