Inventory Analyst and Auditor

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Coordinate physical inventory cycle counts

·Investigate cycle count variances and resolve issues

·Update and reconcile internal costs for repackaged products

·Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

·Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close

·Work with the lubricant management team to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory

·Responsible for recording and tracking all documents relating to the physical inventories

·Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses

·Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factories

·Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing on process improvement

·Prepare and balance book inventory reports

·Assist branches in balancing inventory

·Provide support for yearly audits

·Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the manager
