About the Role

A leading supplier of food ingredients is seeking a proactive Internal Sales Consultant to join their team - Cape Town

Overview:
This role focuses on managing customer accounts, processing orders, and driving sales within the FMCG/food ingredients sector.

Key Responsibilities



  • Handle customer enquiries, orders, and quotations

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Upsell and cross-sell products

  • Liaise with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams

  • Support external sales and manage admin tasks

  • Meet sales targets and KPIs


Requirements



  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • 2 years’ internal sales experience (FMCG / food / ingredients preferred)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Computer literate (MS Office & ERP)

  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
