Role and Facility Information
Physicians – Pain & Symptom Management/Palliative Care. BC Cancer – Prince George. Part‑time.
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care to ambulant cancer patients, integrated with oncological management and survivorship care.
- Facilitate a coordinated approach and ensure continuity of care through effective communication and transfers to community‑level physicians, home care, and palliative services.
- Offer consultation and education to BC Cancer care teams and community‑based providers.
- Support research and educational initiatives in palliative and supportive care, and promote public and provider awareness of palliative care and symptom management.
