The primary purpose of this position is to serve an Intelligence Analyst for the Office of Regional Surveys and Studies. The ORSS develops feasibility assessments, operational concepts of operations, and advises on intelligence and counterintelligence technologies to meet the immediate needs of the Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, the Department of Defense, and other government agencies. Responsibilities - The incumbent is responsible for advising, developing, monitoring, coordinating, and overseeing plans, directives, and employment of tasks for complex, joint operational planning activities. - Leads, manages, and administers complex operational research using state-of-the-art data mining, knowledge discovery, nodal analysis, multi-dimensional data visualization, geospatial, and machine language information technology. - Serves as operational authority for review of essential el...
