Insulation Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist Insulators in the installation, maintenance, repair and removal of thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation systems.
• Support insulation activities on piping, vessels, tanks, equipment, ducts and associated components.
• Carry insulation materials, tools and equipment to and from work locations.
• Assist in measuring, cutting, shaping and fitting insulation materials under the guidance of Insulators.
• Support the installation of metal cladding, jacketing and protective coverings.
• Help remove damaged or deteriorated insulation during maintenance and shutdown activities.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and removing debris before insulation work begins.
• Load, unload, sort and store insulation materials in designated locations.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work areas, workshops and storage locations.
