Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Sr. Control, Automation and Electrical Engineer – Mississauga, Canada

The role reports to the Project Manager on small projects and to the Control, Automation and Electrical Lead Engineer on larger projects. The position has two distinct functions: on‑site commissioning and office‑based project execution.

On-Site Responsibilities

• Independently execute all commissioning activities.
• Take ownership of project tasks to ensure timely completion, and work with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with client and contractors.
• Guide the work of others, including contractor staff.
• Perform factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing.

Office‑Based Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule.
