Job Summary
:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meets with classroom teacher and/or immediate supervisor to discuss daily activities, academics, behaviors, social and/or medical concerns related to the students.
Completes and submits paperwork, lesson plans, instructional data, and behavior data in a timely fashion as scheduled per students assigned.
Uses Agency-approved treatment techniques in supervising and educating students.
Demonstrates familiarity with behavior management and behavior education techniques used at GLS.
Acts as a role model and sets an appropriate example for students, staff, and the community.
Demonstrates familiarity with curriculum by using resources to implement students’ program under the direction and training of the classroom teacher and the Education/Learning Coordinator.
Engages students in active learning.
