Inspector Utilities (RailsTracks)

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all civil utilities works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and authority standards.
• Supervise installation activities related to utilities such as stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, telecom, electrical duct banks and utility corridors.
• Verify line and level, pipe bedding, backfilling compaction and trench works before proceeding with subsequent activities.
• Ensure materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections for excavation, pipe laying, manholes, chambers, thrust blocks and utility crossings.
• Review and monitor contractors’ work progress in accordance with approved method statements and construction schedules.
