Summary You will serve as a INFORMATION SECURITY SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION TECHHNOLOGY SERVICES DEPARTMENT (N6) of FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR. Responsibilities You will provide the Commanding Officer and other personnel with a need to know with information about new or revised Communications Security (COMSEC) policies and procedures and their impact on the command. You will acquire, monitor and maintain command COMSEC material allowance to include a semiannual review of all COMSEC material holdings to ensure that there is a continuing need for the quantity and types of all COMSEC materials held. You will ensure alternate manager(s) remain informed of the status of the account so that the alternate(s) are always fully capable of assuming the duties in the absence of the Key Management Infrastructure Operating Manager (KOAM).
