About the Role
Our distinguished client is seeking an experienced Industrial & Employee Relations Manager. The role involves leading and managing all industrial and employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and aligning with the company's global HR policies.
Responsibilities
1. Industrial & Employee Relations Management
- Act as the subject matter expert on all IR/ER matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Manage end‑to‑end investigation processes, ensuring fairness, consistency, and proper documentation.
- Advise managers on handling performance issues, misconduct, and employee concerns.
- Lead domestic inquiries (DI) and represent the company in IR-related proceedings if required.
2. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act).
