Independent Heavy Duty Mechanic Role

As the primary technician for the facility, you'll have the autonomy to maintain, diagnose, and repair all fleet assets. Reporting to the Mechanic Foreman in Blackfalds and closely collaborating with the Grande Prairie Yard Manager, you will ensure efficient equipment readiness tailored for the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take responsible ownership of fleet maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with the Yard Manager to prioritize equipment effectiveness
• Work with the Mechanic Foreman on complex issues
• Uphold a clean, organized workspace and manage parts inventory
• Ensure all operations align with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal preferred) or Apprentice
