About the Role

The Inclusion Assistant plays a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, emotional and behavioural development across Reception to Year 11. The postholder will work closely with leaders, teachers, families and external agencies to deliver targeted inclusion strategies, remove barriers to learning, and promote positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing in line with the school’s faith values. Your work will support the wider mission of promoting active citizenship, inclusivity and respect, and the Sikh value of sarbat da bhalla—the common good of all.

The role involves delivering targeted inclusion and intervention programmes for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, Pupil Premium, EAL, children known to social services, and pupils experiencing vulnerability.
