Humanities Instructor

Job Description

St. Joseph the Just School for Boys is seeking a full-time humanities instructor in grades 7-12 for the 2026-27 academic year. The school is located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley at the foot of the Blue Ridge mountains with easy access for educational experiences with nature.

St. Joseph the Just provides single-sex Catholic Classical Education for grades 7-12. Instructors are expected to provide both professional presentation of course content and personal witness of the Catholic faith to the young men they instruct. Full-time instructors are expected to teach five to six classes, be present for faculty meetings and parent-teacher conferences, as well as attend academic and school community events.
