Human Resource Benefits Specialist

Position Details:

  • Location: Brooklyn, NY

  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week

  • Pay Rate: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities:


  • Administer and communicate benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, FMLA, FSA, Workers’ Compensation, and life insurance

  • Process and track Workers’ Compensation, disability, FMLA, and leave of absence claims

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city labor laws

  • Maintain OSHA compliance by recording and monitoring workplace injuries

  • Coordinate and manage the open enrollment process

  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefits-related issues

  • Act as liaison between employees, insurance carriers, and union representatives
