Description

You are an HS&E Coordinator, who plays a key role in the execution and implementation of a diverse range of health and safety programs for Utilities projects. You will develop and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents based on existing materials as well as support operations personnel to meet Ledcor “Leading Indicator” requirements. You are a problem solver, a strong communicator and continuously look for innovative solutions that can be utilized to support projects. You are skilled at leveraging relationships with operational teams to drive continuous HS&E improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of the work area and meet with field supervisors to discuss any potential problems: help to ensure the adequate supply of safety equipment, such as protective equipment, fire extinguishers, respirators, etc., monitor environmental hazards, such as excessive noise, toxic agents, etc.
