About the role: Horticulture Teacher

Activate Learning are currently seeking a creative and motivated Horticulture Teacher to join our existing team of teachers/vocational trainers within our land-based provision based at Merrist Wood College.

As a Horticulture Teacher, you will co-ordinate and deliver purposeful, yet exciting theory and practcial lessons to a diverse group of learners. Working in collaboration with the Horticulture provision and other internal and external partners, you will be responsible for the teaching, training and assessment of our learners that share an ultimate passion within the subject area.

Currently we are looking for someone who can deliver elements such as Health and Safety, Sustainability, Biosecurity, Legislation and Business to our L2 Horticulture and T-Level Horticulture and Arboriculture students.

This is a permanent, part time role working 14.8 hours per week (0.4 FTE) at our Merrist Wood College Campus.
