Description

:Oversees the day-to-day operations in support of all facets of the laboratory operation. Ensures effective operation and maintenance of all laboratory equipment, manages testing, develops and manages budgets, meets customer service levels, and regulatory requirements. Manages staff including scheduling, performance management and fostering employee engagement.
Principle Responsibilities

Oversees daily operational performance.Monitors and oversees implementation of process improvements to meet or enhance quality and service targets.Takes accountability and resolves next level escalation on customer service issues.Assists in developing and implementing operations budget.Monitors financial, volume, and productivity data to meet targets.Implements cost reduction opportunities when identified.Develops and maintains laboratory policies and procedures.May have accountability for management of a non-laboratory department.
