Highways Maintenance Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Highways Maintenance Operative to join our Area 7 account in Nottingham, based from our Sandiacre depot (NG10 5ND).

At Amey, we’re supporting National Highways to deliver safe, reliable journeys across the East Midlands. Our teams maintain and improve over 700 kilometres of motorway and trunk roads, helping millions of road users travel safely every day.

This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team carrying out essential highways maintenance and responding to incidents across the network.

The role

The standard hours of work are 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working rotating day and night shifts:

• Days: 7am – 3pm
• Nights: 7pm – 5am

• Delivering highway maintenance works safely and to a high standard
• Carrying out carriageway and footway patching, kerbin...
