£525 - £550 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School situated in Newcastle are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. This role will be focusing predominantly on Early Years and Key Stage 1, covering classes PPA time. The successful HLTA will deliver both core and foundation subjects throughout the week and will be responsible for planning in line with the school’s marking policies. This is a larger than average school with excellent transport links from the city centre.

Requirements

The desired Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will:

- Preferably have experience of working across EYFS – KS1.

- Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above.
