Job Overview High School Math Teacher – Arkansas Virtual Academy (ARVA) Location: Remote (preferred Arkansas residents) Start Date: School Year 2026/27 Essential Functions Deliver synchronous and asynchronous math instruction to high‐school students in an online environment. Personalize learning for all students, differentiating instruction based on mastery levels. Augment course content in line with prescribed policies and procedures, using appropriate tools under guidance from principal and coach. Maintain grade book, ensure academic integrity, make placement and promotion decisions, and alert administrators to performance concerns. Prepare students for high‐stakes standardized tests. Establish and maintain positive rapport with families; communicate regularly and respond to students, learning coaches, and parents in a timely manner.
